» CAN I GET A CARD IF I DO NOT HAVE A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER?

Yes.

» IF I DO NOT HAVE A SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, HOW CAN I OBTAIN ONE?

Should you want to obtain a new Social Security card or a replacement Social Security card, they can start at the SSA.gov website or visit local Social Security Administration office. http://www.ssa.gov/ssnumber/

» WHAT OTHER FORMS OF GOVERNMENT ID ARE ACCEPTABLE TO REGISTER AND ACTIVATE THE VISA PREPAID RELOADABLE CARD FOR CSU COLLEGE?

In lieu of a Social Security Number, a State Government issued ID (Driver’s License or State Identification Card) is required.

» MAY A STUDENT USE THE VISA PREPAID RELOADABLE CARD FOR CSU COLLEGE OFF CAMPUS FOR GOODS AND SERVICES?

Yes.

» DO I NEED TO HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT?

No you do not. Your money will be loaded directly to your card.

» IS THE MONEY ON MY CARD SAFE AGAINST LOSS OR THEFT?

The Visa Zero Liability program protects you from unauthorized purchases, fraud and theft if your CSU Prepaid Card is ever lost or stolen. Details

» HOW DO I USE MY CARD?

Swipe your card at merchants to make purchases or at ATMs for cash.

» WHERE CAN I USE MY CARD?

You can use your card to pay for goods and services everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.

» HOW DO I CHECK MY BALANCE?

You can check your balance at no charge here. Sign up to receive text alerts. You can also go to an ATM and perform a balance inquiry.

» HOW DO I LOAD MONEY ON THE CARD?

You can have your paycheck deposited onto your card by your employer by giving them the Direct Deposit form on your card carrier. We have also partnered with Visa® ReadyLink, which allows you to load your card at your choice of thousands of locations nationwide. » HOW DO I RECEIVE MY PIN (Personal Identification Number)?

Your PIN is the last 4 digits of the phone number you provided when activating your card. You may change your PIN online at My Card Place or call our Customer Service at (866) 345-4011.

» WHAT IS MY USERNAME AND PASSWORD?

Once your card has been activated, you may go to My Card Place and create an online account. You will be prompted to enter your PIN for verification purposes. Once your PIN has been verified, you will be asked to select a user ID and password. Please store your account information in a safe place. Remember it is never a good idea to share your username and password with anyone.

» WHEN DO I USE MY PIN?

Your PIN is required when withdrawing funds from an ATM machine or when making a “debit” purchase at a retail outlet such as gas stations, grocery stores, etc. Review a listing of your cardholder fees here.

» HOW CAN I RECEIVE MY PAYCHECK ON MY NEW CARD?

To receive payroll deposits on your new card, fill out the direct deposit authorization form included in the card package and submit it to your employer. You can download a new form by logging into your account online at My Card Place.

» WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I LOSE MY CARD OR IF IT IS STOLEN?

Contact our toll-free Customer Service line at 1-866-345-4011 immediately and we will deactivate your card and reissue you a new card. Your balance will automatically be transferred to the new card. » HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE UNTIL I RECEIVE MY REPLACEMENT CARD?

If you contact CardFlex toll-free Customer Service at 1-866-345-4011 and request a new card from us directly, you will receive it via USPS First Class within 7-10 days.

» HOW DO I DISPUTE CHARGES TO MY PREPAID CARD?
